Along with all the usual activities and groups at St Peter’s which continue, there are a few special events coming up, which we’d love you to come along to!

Prayer in the Park
Saturday 18th May, 1-4pm at Clarence Park (BL9 6LL)

You’re invited to join the churches of Bury as we come together to worship God and to pray for our town. We will be praying for our council, communities, schools, businesses and the Christian Community, and hope that those nearby are drawn in.

Bury Mission Community Quiet Day
Saturday 18th May, 10am-3pm at St Mary in the Baum, Rochdale (OL16 1AP)

Take a day to be quiet in God’s presence, and allow Him to speak to you. This has been organised by ALM’s in Bury, and will be led by Rev’d James Read. Please bring lunch.

Bury Choral Society - Performing at St Peter’s
Saturday 18th May, 7:30pm
We are hosting a performance entitled ‘Choral Music of the Sea’ and including Samuel Jackson, Erin Rees, and Juan Ortuno. Tickets are £12 (£6 students) and available on the door. More info: burychoral.org

The Big Church Picnic
Saturday 29th June, 11am-2pm at Clarence Park (BL9 6LL)

Bring a picnic lunch and come together with other churches in Bury, whilst the young and young at heart enjoy a decathlon of activities, linking in to the Olympics. Everyone is welcome, so please do invite a friend or two along.
