Prayers and performances, picnics and peace - there’s lots coming up!

Hello! My name is Shannon Burton and I recently joined the team at St Peter’s Bury as the Kids and Youth Team Leader. My role is to support the children and young people in Bury, both speaking about and showing the love that Jesus has for them.

There are some exciting things to come this autumn, as we celebrate our building’s 150th anniversary!

Be a blessing to primary and secondary school students in Bury, helping them to thrive this coming academic year and experience the love and goodness of God.

We caught up with Jason Lawton, St Peter’s new Curate, to find out more about him and his family ahead of their move to Bury. Jason is about to be ordained as a minister, in the Church of England and will be serving at St Peter’s for his first post. We’re so excited to have the Lawtons with us, and are expectant for all that God will do with and through them in the time they’re here!
